Bobbi was reportedly found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub filled with water by Nick and a friend, according to the Associated Press. It’s unclear how much water was in the tub, but was reportedly enough for a bath. Nick performed CPR on her before police arrived.
We are shocked by how the state Bobbi was found in is so similar to her motherWhitney Houston‘s death. Whitney died in a bathtub full of water at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in 2012. Whitney, who struggled with drug addiction, died from accidental drowning after cocaine use. She also was said to have suffered from heart disease at the time of her death.
The parallel between Whitney and Bobbi’s episodes are very ominous. Whitney died right around the time of the Grammy Awards on February 11, 2012. We know Bobbi has even had Whitney on her mind, as she took to remembering the anniversary of her death on Twitter. Bobbi tweeted a picture and sweet message on Jan. 26 about how she missed and loved her late mother.
It has not yet been confirmed that Bobbi was under the influence of drugs at the time. TMZreports that police executed a search warrant for the home and found no drugs or substances on the scene. However, the story is still developing.
